Acne Scar Treatment
CO2 laser, RF microneedling & PRP — customised to your scar type by a PMDC Verified Dermatologist with 26 years of experience in DHA Phase 6, Karachi.
What is acne scar treatment?
Acne scars are a common but highly treatable skin condition, and choosing the right treatment depends entirely on scar type, depth, and individual skin tone. At Dr. Uzma Pirzada's Skin & Laser Clinic in DHA Phase 6, Karachi, acne scars are assessed and treated through a personalised protocol designed by Dr. Uzma personally — a PMDC Verified Dermatologist with over 26 years of clinical and aesthetic experience. The clinic offers CO2 laser resurfacing, which stimulates deep collagen production by precisely targeting damaged skin layers; RF microneedling, which combines micro-injuries with radiofrequency heat to remodel scar tissue from within; PRP therapy, which uses the patient's own growth factors to accelerate healing; and medical-grade chemical peels for superficial scarring. Each patient receives a clinical assessment before treatment begins. Most patients require a combination of two or more modalities across multiple sessions for the most complete results.
How it works
Consultation & Assessment
Dr. Uzma examines your scar pattern, depth, and skin tone. A bespoke treatment protocol is designed before any procedure is recommended.
Treatment Session
The chosen modality (CO2 laser, RF microneedling, or chemical peel) is performed by Dr. Uzma personally. Sessions take 45–90 minutes depending on the area.
Healing & Collagen Remodelling
Skin heals over 5–7 days for ablative treatments. Collagen continues to remodel for up to 6 months, with progressive improvement visible each month.
Maintenance
A follow-up plan is provided to maintain results and prevent new scarring.
